Conducted EMI of Switching Frequency Modulated Boost Converter
In this paper conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) of boost converter with switching frequency modulation (SFM) is theoretically analyzed in details. In the analysis line impedance stabilization network parameters, power inductor and input filtering capacitor parameters are taken into account. The analysis shows that the conducted EMI attenuation due to the use of SFM depends not only o...
متن کاملA comparative study of carrier-frequency modulation techniques for conducted EMI suppression in PWM converters
A rigorous mathematical analysis and a comparative study of carrier-frequency modulation (CFM) techniques for the conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression in pulsewidth-modulated converters is presented. CFM techniques dither the switching period with a small amplitude variation around the nominal value, so that the harmonic power is redistributed over the spectrum of concern. T...
متن کاملAnalysis and Spectral Characteristics of a Spread-Spectrum Technique for Conducted EMI Suppression
Frequency modulation (FM) and random switching methods have been used for reducing conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) in power converters. Limited theoretical studies and comparisons of these schemes, however, are available. In this paper, a detailed analysis and the spectral characteristics of a random carrier-frequency (RCF) technique for suppressing conducted EMI in an offline swit...
متن کاملAnalysis of Frequency Leakage in Different Optical Paths of Nano-Metrology Systems Based on Frequency-Path Models
The drawing of frequency-path (F-P) models of optical beams is an approach for nonlinearity analysis in nano-metrology systems and sensors based on the laser interferometers. In this paper, the frequency-path models of four nano-metrology laser interferometry systems are designed, analyzed and simulated, including ...
متن کاملElectromagnetic interference reduction in printed circuit boards by using metamaterials: a conduction and radiation impact analysis
This work aims to compare the implementation of two metamaterials for reducing electromagnetic interference (EMI) in printed circuit boards (PCBs). Specifically, complementary split-ring resonators (CSRRs) and electromagnetic bandgaps (EBGs) were etched on the ground plane of a microstrip transmission line. Both techniques were compared as EMI filters, taking into account frequency response, si...
